How do You Chill Wine Quickly?

Hey Oneface Community! Today’s tip will allow you to freeze that white wine or bubbly concoction without diluting it.

There’s nothing worse, as a hostess, than offering your guest a glass of wine, only to realize that your entire stash is lukewarm. Blech. Rather than watering down the first few glasses with a handful of ice, try this instead:

Rabbit Wine Chilling Carafe in Black from Amazon, $30.

Pour the entire bottle into this handy little carafe, then fill the stainless-steel chamber with ice and pop it back in the carafe. I tried it out with a bottle of downright warm pinot noir (it was in the kitchen while I was cooking—oops!) over the weekend, and the wine was perfectly chilled in just a few minutes. (Contrary to popular belief, reds should be served slightly chilled, at cellar temperature, not room temperature. Here’s an explanation.)

If you’re wine’s already cold, the Rabbit Carafe is perfect for keeping it that way without trekking back and forth to the fridge every time a someone’s glass needs to be topped off. (SO much better than a drippy ice bucket!)

My mom SO uses an ice cube. (Sorry, Mom!)
